Ned is the Managing Director in charge of Investor Relations, Distribution and Equity Investments at Sandpiper. He spearheaded the equity raise for Sandpiper Hospitality’s funds III, IV, V, and VI and Sandpiper Reno totaling $52 million from high net worth individuals, family offices and small institutions from across the country. In addition to securing equity for the company and handling investor relations responsibilities, Sinnott has been actively leading as the point person in our development activities. His role includes site selection, contract negotiations, fostering brokerage relationships and the funding of real estate development efforts that all fuel Sandpiper’s growth. Ned says, “I completely believe in what we are building here at Sandpiper, in regards to the company we are building, and to the solid private equity investment opportunities we offer our partners through our family of funds. We take our fiduciary responsibility very seriously as a firm, and always treat our investor’s money as if it were our own. Without our partners, none of our growth here at Sandpiper would be possible.”
Ned has held myriad sales and management positions over his 24-year career. Prior to Sandpiper, Ned was a Senior Vice President in Institutional Equity Sales with Davenport & Company and Wunderlich Securities, covering major institutional accounts in New York, Connecticut, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
He holds a BA in History from the University of Virginia.
Sinnott enjoys wearing many hats for Sandpiper and believes it keeps him highly motivated and from growing weary of the same routine.
