With over 25 years of hotel leadership experience, Stefano has managed resort, full service, focused, and extended stay hotels. His experience spans over multiple brands such IHG, Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and Choice hotels. With four hotel openings and numerous renovations under his leadership, Stefano attributes all his successes to one thing: workplace culture. He has overseen three number one ranked Trip Advisor hotels located in the Hampton Roads area; he credits this accomplishment to having engaged and empowered associates that were “all in” with the company’s vision, mission, and core principles. Besides the commitment to service excellence for the hotel associates and guests, Stefano is equally passionate about the life, safety, and security of the asset as well as honoring the financial commitment to owners and investors. His management style encompasses 100% transparency, which is fully demonstrated in his training and mentoring of his associates. Stefano’s management philosophy is to inspire the people and manage the processes; to inspect what you expect. Don’t talk about it, be about it.
As a navy brat, Stefano was born in Sardinia, Italy (how he got his Italian name) but has spent the majority of his life where he currently lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

That “welcome home” feeling of seeing a well-maintained curbside of a hotel (condition as well as cleanliness), the consistent friendly and inviting smile and tone of hotel staff throughout the entire stay, the “hospital” cleaned elevator, floor and corridor leading up to the guest room, and finally entering the guest room to find everything is clean, in good condition, and in good working order. The cherry on top is the when the associates own the goodbye and wish you safe travels and a speedy return.
