Sandpiper Hospitality Hires Two New Executives

Richmond, Va. – (Jan. 18, 2024) – Sandpiper Hospitality – a Virginia-based hotel management company with vast expertise in the extended-stay segment – has hired two new senior executives. Amy Howland is now serving as Senior Vice President of Operations at Sandpiper Hospitality and Tiffany Lewis is the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Howland joins Sandpiper Hospitality from the Shaner Hotel Group, where she served as a Regional Vice President of Operations. A multi-brand hospitality executive with more than 20 years of industry experience, Howland also held regional leadership positions with the Naples Hotel Group and Aimbridge Hospitality. A graduate of Columbia International University, Howland is an expert in developing strategic initiatives and cultivating business partnerships who also has previous management experience at Hawkeye Hotels and Hospitality Specialists.

Bringing 20+ years of hospitality sales experience to Sandpiper Hospitality, Lewis most recently served as the Corporate Director of Sales & Business Development for Magna Hospitality Group. A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, she is a proven sales leader who has worked across multiple brands, including Holiday Inn, SpringHill Suites by Marriott, DoubleTree by Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn and Sheraton Hotels & Resorts.

Sandpiper Hospitality continues to expand its portfolio of hotels, adding 15 new properties to its management portfolio in the past 12 months, including the Courtyard by Marriott Fort Collins in Colorado, a new 140-room Extended Stay America in Sparks, NV, and a new Candlewood Suites in Atlanta-Smyrna, GA.
